Overview

The Director, Product will be a centralized product leader, responsible for product roadmap & associated development, product marketing, product-related sales training, reporting and analytics, and collaborating with Wyyerd’s sales and marketing teams in the local markets to achieve product objectives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about growing a brand and business in “hyper-scale” mode, working at a fast pace along with teammates who are doing the same.

ARPU Growth – Meet or exceed company ARPU & product-related targets (e.g., internet tier mix, voice & other add-on attach rates) in collaboration with local market leaders. Highest priority near-term segment is Residential, with additional support for SMB, Enterprise, Carrier, and Non-profit/Government/Education.

Product Cost Optimization – Track and work to optimize directly-attributable costs by product & associated margins as relevant.

Product Roadmap -- In collaboration with Strategy & Product lead, define longer-term product roadmap and prioritize initiatives within the roadmap. 

Product Development/3rd Party Partnerships -- Evaluate and establish 3rd party partnerships as needed to implement the roadmap. Work with internal teams on internal product development efforts where relevant.

Product Marketing – Work with Central and Local marketing leaders on product-specific marketing messaging for digital platforms (e.g., website, social media) and non-digital marketing collateral. Support function for Marketing. 

Analytics -- Refine and track product KPIs, identify and leverage tools to enable tracking where appropriate, partner closely with internal software/development team to enable tracking capabilities as needed.

Quantitative tracking (Reporting) vs. goals -- Track and report success using quantitative metrics such as product-level & aggregate ARPU, internet speed tier mix, add-on attach rates, etc. Evaluate variances to objectives and develop recommendations for performance improvement.

Competitive Assessment/Tracking -- Periodically research and review product portfolios & pricing for key competitors to inform internal product, sales and marketing efforts as well as product roadmap development above.

Partnering with internal teams -- Collaborate and partner effectively with colleagues across the business, both in the Wyyerd central organization and in the local markets, in order to effectively and optimally achieve goals (both yours and theirs).

Customer focus -- Cultivate customer satisfaction and outstanding customer experience by understanding the customer, optimizing experience, measuring satisfaction, communicating needs internally, and continually improving.

Experience/Qualifications
-8+ years in Product, Marketing, Sales and/or other related roles with accountability for KPIs
-Degree in Product, Marketing or related field, strongly preferred, but may be offset by specific experience.
-Demonstrated track record of building effective relationships in a broad community ecosystem.
-True passion for a high-paced, high-growth environment.
-Effective quantitative skills for quantitative tracking toward ROI and other success metrics.
-Highly organized and communicative with colleagues and leaders.
-Team player/collaborative approach is a must.
