Overview

Wyyerd Fiber is seeking a Neighborhood Representative to be part of a team of high-energy, customer-oriented peers who handle sales as the first point of contact for residential customers. This is a critical role as Wyyerd Fiber seeks to dramatically expand its service area and grow its customer base in the coming months and years.

The Neighborhood Representative will provide unparalleled customer service while educating potential customers on the benefits of fiber internet, streaming video, and VOIP services. The individual will be responsible for generating, managing, and maximizing leads within a defined territory. This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Neighborhood Representative Manager, who values daily collaboration and autonomy to allow you to achieve success.

The Neighborhood Representative should actively seek to sell and up-sell products and services that may be beneficial to customers. Therefore, this individual must be diligent and assertive when referencing the latest products and services provided by the company. The Neighborhood Representative will be involved with community/external events and promotions and any other activity that is identified as being of value to promote Wyyerd and its products in the market.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
-Reach out to leads via phone, email, in person, and other creative methods to convey Wyyerd’s value proposition
-Keep leads alive by overcoming objections and re-engaging prospects back into the conversation
-Maximize contact rates through a methodical and organized approach
-Formulate meaningful relationships with key community members
-Update all activities in Sales Rabbit
-Achieve daily, monthly, and quarterly sales metrics
-Collaborate with Customer Service, Marketing, Network Ops, and Construction departments as needed
-Conduct detailed conversations with our potential customers to identify their needs and concerns; suggest products and services that match their needs
-Attend community events; identity new event/sponsorship opportunities
- View every interaction with a customer, potential or existing, as an opportunity to deliver a high level of service
-Other duties as required

Experience/Qualification:
Work experience in telecommunication sales is preferred but not necessary
Proven sales experience
Familiar with customer record systems, processes and practices
Highly organized and communicative with colleagues and leaders
Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
Preference given to individuals living in close proximity to our office
